Canada has revised its visa policy, scrapping The automatic issues of multiple-entry visas.
Previously individuals holding multiple-entry visas could enter Canada as many times as needed within the visa’s validity period, which lasted up to 10 years or until the travel document or biometrics expired.
Now Canada ends multiple-entry visa Policy and immigration officials have the discretion to decide whether to issue a single-entry or multiple-entry visa.
Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) stated “Guidance has been updated to indicate that multiple-entry visas issued to maximum validity are no longer considered to be the standard document.
Officers may exercise dear judgment in deciding whether to issue a single or multiple-entry Visa and in determining the validity period”.
